Esthetic tooth filling

Lifelike, durable, painless aesthetic tooth filling in Budapest? Register with us!

Tooth decay is a public disease in Hungary today! Very few people can boast that they don’t have any fillings. The most common dental treatment for teeth damaged by tooth decay or other causes is a light-binding, aesthetic white dental filling that perfectly matches the original color of the tooth. In our practice, we use light-binding, tooth-colored, white Gradia, 3M and Tokuyama quality composite filling materials for durability.

Painless anesthesia and tooth filling

The anesthetic Septanest Forte used in our office provides 4x more effective anesthesia than the traditional Lidocain anesthetic. In addition, its effect lasts twice as long. In this way, tooth filling can be performed painlessly. The anesthetic is administered with a special cylindrical ampoule syringe with a thin needle so that you feel almost nothing.

The procedure and steps of tooth filling

First step: removing the decayed part with a drill if it is larger than a pinhead.

Second step: when the tooth is already completely clean and smooth from carious parts, the self-acidifying Adhesive is applied, which is used to prepare the placement of the sealing material. This is necessary because the dental filling must also be chemically fixed to the tooth tissue.

Third step: photopolymerization of the adhesive layer. This should be done for 10 seconds.

Fourth step: placement of the lining, special composite. This is necessary so that the dental filling can be placed on a good basis, but it also seals the dentin and insulates it.

Step five: structure of the proximal wall of the hole. For this, a body-colored, enamel-colored filler is used.

Step sixth: placement of a layer of dentine-colored filling material.

Step seven: the filling itself. The tooth filling is formed in layers, each layer is photopolymerized for 10 seconds. We do not make “traditional” flat tooth fillings, if not 3D, lifelike, original tooth shape fillings

Eighth step: polishing, with which the dentist creates the final shape of the tooth filling. It is important to polish the filling until the correct bite height is reached. The patient must also help in this, because he can feel whether it still bothers him, if it sticks out somewhere, if it scratches, and the dentist adjusts it where the patient requests it.

Making a deposit

In the event that a large part of the tooth material has to be removed (most often in the case of root canal treatment or the replacement of a large amalgam filling), unfortunately, it may happen that a filling is not sufficient for long-term durability, but an inlay made by a dental technician is required . In this case, based on an impression, the dental technician prepares the wear-resistant, aesthetic, tooth-colored inlay, which is fixed in the tooth by gluing, so we can restore the original shape and function of the tooth.

Amalgam filling replacement

Contrary to popular belief, amalgam fillings are not toxic, but in many cases they really need to be replaced. Since the volume of amalgam fillings increases slightly over time, we often come across resistant filling edges, from which tooth decay can start. In addition, in the case of larger fillings, the growing amalgam stretches the teeth, so cracks and fractures may occur. These changes can be prevented by replacing the old amalgam filling with a tooth-colored, aesthetic composite filling or inlay.
